"Easy to play!" - no resistance: this Jupiter 631 is a pleasure to play and produces a very nice sound. This is a very well made instrument with a good reputation (serial number 203743 JCL-631).

In our refurbishing process, we have completely stripped this clarinet to clean every part, repad and recork as needed, and make adjustments to bring about its best sound.

This clarinet is easy blowing with a big sound. Other features are:

The body is in good used condition with no chips nor cracks
The keys have a nice polished look; some show some wear
All cork is in good used condition and all the parts fit together with no wobble or leakage
We've installed 7 new pads; all are seated properly and seal well. Please note that during transport and shipping of a clarinet, due to atmospheric changes and other conditions not under our control, shrinkage and loosening of pads may occur. It is not common but it can occur
The spring tension is good throughout and all the tenon rings are tight
The tone holes are clean
Comes with a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece in excellent used condition with a new mouthpiece cushion and rovner-style ligature
Comes in original Jupiter case in very good used condition inside and out

This is an excellent choice for the beginner student or a player looking for a solid doubler.
