There's no resistance in playing or looking at this one: this Normandy 4 comes in beautiful condition and is easy to play (serial #87121). We have completely stripped it, cleaned every part, oiled the wood and keys, screws and springs, making adjustments and replacements as needed (details below).

In play-testing, we found every note to play well from the lowest to the altissimo range. We highly recommend this instrument for the student looking to move to the beauty of a wooden clarinet. Other features are:

• The body is in beautiful used condition with no chips nor cracks
• The keys are highly polished and show very little wear
• The tenon corks are in good used condition and all the parts fit together with no wobble
• As stated above, we've installed 13 new pads; seated properly and tested, all pads seal well. Please note that during transport and shipping of a clarinet, due to atmospheric changes and other conditions not under our control, shrinkage and loosening of pads may occur. It is not common but it can occur
• The spring tension is good throughout and all rings are tight
• Comes with a VanDoren 2RV mouthpiece in excellent used condition. Ligature and new cap included
• The case is in very good used condition inside and out, with room for music and accessories. Beginning music book included in lid.
